ZED PAYNE
Zed is a queer hairdresser and artist who has called East Vancouver home since before it was hip to do so.
Zed graduated from the VCC Hair Design Program in 2011. They opened their own salon in their art studio the next week, and have been providing professional cuts and colour full time since.
Zed is proud to create a safe space for people of all ages, backgrounds, genders and orientations to get the haircut and colour they want.
Zed is passionate about great hair, exceptional service and gender-neutral pricing. Zed loves helping folks feel their best, listening to the CBC and ranting a bit about politics!
Zed started sharing space with Big Bro’s in July 2016, loves it dearly and looks forward to growing with the community for many years to come.
RATES
$65 + GST for haircuts
Colour from $95 an hour.
CANCELLATION POLICY
48 hours + = no worries! Let’s rebook at your convenience!
48-24 hours notice = If I can fill the spot from my waitlist, no worries! Let’s rebook!
If I can’t fill the spot with 24 hours or less notice, please understand that as a small business I am depending on that planned income. Especially if we were booked for a colour!
So my request is that you please send me at least half the cost of our planned service.
If you miss 2 or more appointments with less than 24 hours notice, you will need to pre-pay in full in order to book with me in future.
